About Kurnell Preschool
Kurnell Preschool is a not-for-profit, community-based centre that has been nurturing children aged 2 to 5 years since 1976. Nestled in the close-knit community of Kurnell. The preschool is located on Dharawal land.
With Kamay Botany Bay National Park on our doorstep we are surrounded by a rich tapestry of wildlife and wonder.

Every child is a curious explorer. Our nurturing environment is designed to foster creativity, discovery, and a love for learning.
The large activity room is divided into stations which change on a daily basis. Off to one side we have a smaller room that houses our calm corner and safe sleeping space.
Activity Stations
Change daily based on children's interests, STEM activities, requests, focus topics and developmental areas.
Outdoor Area
We have a large undercover outside area with retractable blockout blinds so we can further extend our learning area in all weather conditions.
Sensory Play
We incorporate sensory and messy play in our every day activities. By giving hands on experiences we help foster many different areas of development.
Outdoor Play
We love outdoor play at Kurnell Preschool and incorporate it into our day as much as possible. In the summer we avoid the middle of the day and include lots of water play.
Our bathroom is fitted with child size toilets and nappy change area.
There is also a fully equipped kitchen where the children's lunchboxes are stored, in the fridge.
Our outdoor play space includes a mud kitchen, pirate ship forte with climbing wall and slide, sandpit, waterplay station, under cover/ shaded play areas and dirt garden for the children to dig and explore.
